The pavilion of the Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies Department at Al-Mustaqbal University witnessed distinguished attendance on April 13, 2026, as part of the activities of the International Future Week held on campus, with the participation of a UNESCO delegation and the University President, Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi.
The event featured a presentation delivered by Mr. Yasser Amer, which included three specialized projects: a live demonstration of global cyberattacks, raising awareness about the risks of weak passwords that can lead to WiFi breaches, and highlighting the dangers of unencrypted HTTP data using Wireshark.
This participation aimed to promote cybersecurity awareness and enhance digital literacy among students and visitors, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).
The event reflects the efforts of the Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies Department in fostering a secure digital environment and underscores the leadership of Al-Mustaqbal University as the leading private university in Iraq in adopting modern scientific and technological initiatives.
