The Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the Sustainability Week Committee, organized a statistical and awareness activity under the supervision of (Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radhi, Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein, and Teaching Assistant Suhad Abdul Amir) on Thursday, April 16, 2026, titled: "Violence Against Women: A Reading of Numbers and Reality," under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi. ​The activity highlighted the pivotal role of social and moral awareness, focusing on providing an analytical reading supported by figures and statistics on the phenomenon of violence against women locally and globally. It featured charts illustrating physical, psychological, and economic violence, aiming to foster a preventive culture and build a university and social environment based on solidarity and cooperation. ​This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance social responsibility and highlight the contributions of scientific departments in building a sustainable future.
