The Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the Sustainability Week Committee, organized an awareness and developmental campaign under the supervision of (Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radhi, Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein, and Teaching Assistant Rand Maan Ahmed) on Thursday, April 16, 2026, titled: "The Importance of Solar Cells and Their Role in Generating Clean Energy," under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi. ​The campaign highlighted the pivotal role of environmental and technical awareness, focusing on providing educational information about how solar cells work and their importance in reducing reliance on traditional energy sources and lowering pollution. It reviewed sustainable solutions for energy generation, aiming to foster a preventive culture and build a green university environment based on solidarity and cooperation. ​This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance social responsibility and highlight the contributions of scientific departments in building a sustainable future.
