The Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the Sustainability Week Committee, organized a training and development workshop under the supervision of (Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein, Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radhi, and Teaching Assistant Shams Saleem Abbas) on Thursday, April 16, 2026, titled: "Development of technical skills in the field of Air Traffic Control (ATS)" under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi. ​The workshop highlighted the pivotal role of scientific and practical awareness, focusing on providing specialized information about (ATS) technologies. It reviewed effective methods for developing students' skills in public speaking and academic presentation, aiming to foster a cognitive culture and build an advanced university environment based on solidarity and cooperation. ​This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance social responsibility and highlight the contributions of scientific departments in building a sustainable future. This aligns with the university's strategic vision and the "Sustainability Week" events, reflecting a commitment to developing the moral and cognitive awareness of all staff and students while establishing a culture of continuous learning and meeting labor market requirements. ​The workshop, presented by a group of students from the "Electrical Training Club," underscored the university's efforts in supporting student initiatives and saw great interaction from the attendees in understanding the role of teamwork in enhancing self-confidence and developing leadership and human skills within the campus. ​Al-Mustaqbal University..
