As part of the Fourth International Future Sustainability Week, the Department of Optics Techniques at Al-Mustaqbal University conducted a practical activity on Sunday, 12/4/2026, which included vision screening for booth visitors, with the participation of students and supervision of the academic staff, in support of SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education). The activity aimed to enhance students’ practical skills in vision testing, raise public awareness of eye health, and promote early detection of visual problems, alongside providing health guidance to visitors. The Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mundhir Sameen Shukr, actively participated by performing visual acuity tests for visitors, emphasizing the importance of linking theoretical learning with practical application and community service.
