The Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the Sustainability Week Committee, organized a workshop titled: "Reducing Power Losses in Electrical Wires and Improving Energy Efficiency" on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, and the direct supervision of (Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radhi, Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein, and Teaching Assistant Mustafa Mohammed Hassan). ​The workshop highlighted the pivotal role of technical awareness in energy efficiency, focusing on the causes of power losses in electrical networks and wires and their impact on resource sustainability. It reviewed effective methods to reduce waste and improve system efficiency, aiming to foster a preventive culture and build a sustainable university environment based on solidarity and cooperation. ​This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance social responsibility and highlight the contributions of scientific departments in building a sustainable future.
