As part of the Sustainability Week activities and under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the University's Sustainability Week Committee, organized an awareness and developmental campaign on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. ​The campaign, titled "Preserving the Environment is a Collective Responsibility Shared by All," was held under the supervision of (Teaching Assistant Israa Issa Ibrahim, Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radhi, and Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein). ​The campaign highlighted the pivotal role of collective environmental awareness, focusing on providing educational information emphasizing that nature conservation is not only an institutional duty but an individual and collective moral responsibility. It showcased practical practices for rationalizing consumption and reducing emissions, aiming to foster a preventive culture and build a sustainable university environment based on solidarity and cooperation. ​This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance social responsibility and highlight the contributions of scientific departments in building a sustainable future.
