As part of the Sustainability Week activities and under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the University's Sustainability Week Committee, organized an awareness and developmental campaign on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. ​The campaign, titled "Enhancing Social Awareness and Women's Empowerment on Campus," was held under the supervision of (Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radhi, Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein, and Asst. Lecturer Bushra Majid). ​The campaign highlighted the pivotal role of social awareness, focusing on providing educational information about mechanisms for empowering women academically and professionally, and developing their leadership skills to enhance their role in decision-making on campus. It also provided guidance to establish a culture of mutual respect and equality, fostering a preventive culture and building a university environment based on solidarity and cooperation. ​This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance social responsibility and highlight the contributions of scientific departments in building a sustainable future.
