As part of the Sustainability Week activities and under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the University's Sustainability Week Committee, organized an awareness and developmental campaign on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. ​The campaign, titled "Women's Empowerment: Behind Every Strong Woman is Herself, Who Defied the Odds," was held under the supervision of (Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein, Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radhi, and Teaching Assistant Suhad Abdulameer). ​The campaign highlighted the pivotal role of social awareness and women's empowerment, focusing on providing educational information about the importance of supporting women and encouraging them to face challenges and achieve their ambitions. It emphasized self-confidence and raising awareness of women's leadership and societal roles, while highlighting stories of success and perseverance, aiming to foster a preventive culture and build a university environment based on solidarity and cooperation. ​This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance social responsibility and highlight the contributions of scientific departments in building a sustainable future.
