As part of the Sustainability Week activities and under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the University's Sustainability Week Committee, organized an awareness and developmental campaign on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. ​The campaign, titled "Women's Empowerment: Woman is Half of Society and the Educator of the Other Half," was held under the supervision of (Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radhi, Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein, and Teaching Assistant Israa Issa). ​The campaign highlighted the pivotal role of social awareness and women's empowerment, focusing on providing educational information about the essential role of women in society, the importance of empowerment and equality in rights and duties, and enhancing self-confidence and the ability to raise future generations. This aimed to foster a preventive culture and build a university environment based on solidarity and cooperation. ​This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance social responsibility and highlight the contributions of scientific departments in building a sustainable future.
