The Department of biology at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness campaign on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, titled “Green Buildings: A Step Toward a Sustainable Future,” under the supervision of Lecturer Assistant (M.M.) Duha Salah Sahib, with the participation of department students. The campaign was held across the university campus. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of green buildings and their role in reducing the consumption of natural resources, improving energy efficiency, and minimizing negative environmental impacts. The campaign included the distribution of awareness brochures among students, addressing the concept of green buildings and their key standards, in addition to highlighting their role in achieving a healthy and sustainable environment. The campaign witnessed notable engagement from students through their participation in distributing materials and interacting with visitors, reflecting their interest in environmental issues and in promoting a culture of sustainability.
