As part of the Sustainability Week activities and under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the University's Sustainability Week Committee, organized an awareness and developmental campaign on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. ​The campaign, titled "Cyber-Violence and Its Impact on Women and Society," was held under the supervision of (Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radhi, Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein, and Teaching Assistant Maha Mohammed). ​The campaign highlighted the pivotal role of technical and ethical awareness, focusing on providing educational information about the risks of digital violence in all its forms. It illustrated the psychological and social impacts that not only affect women but also extend to threaten the stability of the social fabric. Furthermore, it provided guidance on digital protection measures and promoted ethical values in cyberspace to foster a preventive culture and build a safe university environment based on solidarity and cooperation. ​This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance social responsibility and highlight the contributions of scientific departments in building a sustainable future.
