As part of the activities of the Fourth International Future Sustainability Week, the Optical Technologies Department at Al-Mustaqbal University conducted a clinical follow-up on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, for several patients who underwent cosmetic artificial eye implantation, four months after their procedures, aiming to accurately evaluate outcomes and monitor visual conditions. The follow-up included pre- and post-operative eye examinations, where the results showed significant improvement according to the clinical assessment provided by Dr. Ghith Ali Mahmoud, in alignment with local and international standards in ocular technologies and cosmetic prosthetic solutions. The medical team confirmed that the positive outcomes reflect the success of the procedures and continuous monitoring, highlighting the readiness of the department’s specialized laboratories to receive more cases and provide advanced specialized services in this field. This activity is part of the department’s efforts to develop specialized healthcare services and integrate scientific knowledge with modern clinical applications, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), by enhancing the quality of eye care services and improving patients’ quality of life. Al-Mustaqbal University ranks first among private universities in Iraq.
