Optics Techniques Department at Al-Mustaqbal University Continues Vision Screening Activities During Sustainability Week

As part of the activities of the Fourth Future Sustainability Week, the Optical Technologies Department at Al-Mustaqbal University continued providing community services through its vision screening booth on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, marking the third consecutive day of examinations for visitors and students. This initiative supports the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by enhancing eye care services, and Goal 4 (Quality Education) by offering practical learning opportunities for students. The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, who visited the department’s examination laboratories to review the workflow and follow up on the efforts made in delivering optical services. During the visit, the Dean emphasized the importance of such practical activities in strengthening students’ hands-on skills, praising the department’s role in providing high-quality healthcare services that contribute to raising visual awareness and serving the community.
