The College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a legal workshop on Monday, April 13, 2026, titled “Environmental Pollution in Babylon and the Role of National Legislation in Reducing It,” delivered by Dr. Qasim Mohammed Hantoush, at the College of Law Hall – Humanities Building, as part of the Fourth Al-Mustaqbal International Sustainability Week. The workshop addressed key environmental challenges in Babylon, including rising pollution levels and the depletion of natural resources, stressing the importance of enforcing national legislation to protect the environment and achieve sustainable development. It also highlighted the role of public awareness and responsible practices, such as conserving resources and recycling, in supporting environmental protection, alongside the contribution of educational and legislative institutions in promoting environmental culture and enforcing relevant laws.
