Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the activities of the Second International Scientific Conference of the College of Administrative Sciences were launched on Monday morning, April 13, 2026, in the Central Hall of the Presidency Building, under the theme of sustainability and rigorous scientific research. The conference, held as part of the “Fourth Al-Mustaqbal International Sustainability Week,” witnessed significant scientific momentum, with the presentation of 257 peer-reviewed research papers. The sessions were organized to address sustainable development issues in the fields of management, economics, and financial sciences, with the participation of a distinguished group of academics and researchers from within Iraq and abroad, who presented practical solutions to current developmental challenges. Professor Dr. Haider Al-Dulaimi, Dean of the College, emphasized that the conference successfully served as a global platform for knowledge exchange. The distinguished participation of the Head of the Business Administration Department and its faculty members was also evident, as they played a pivotal role in managing the scientific and preparatory committees, contributing to the smooth conduct of sessions and maintaining high academic standards. The conference aims to support sustainable development pathways in Iraq by producing applied knowledge that serves state institutions and society. The first day concluded with a set of strategic recommendations emphasizing the importance of adopting digital innovation and artificial intelligence in financial and economic management to achieve the 2030 sustainability goals.
