In celebration of the historic sporting achievement and the qualification of our national team (Lions of Mesopotamia) for the 2026 World Cup, the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University has announced an official holiday for all its departments, including the College of Education and the English Department, on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, and Thursday, April 2, 2026. This decision aims to share the joy of this grand global milestone with the Iraqi people, the academic community, and students, in recognition of the determination and perseverance shown by the national team.
