The English Department at the College of Education, Al-Mustaqbal University organized a workshop entitled “Educational Guidance and Its Role in Supporting Students within the University Environment”, with the attendance of a number of the department’s students. The workshop was held as part of the department’s scientific activities aimed at supporting students academically and educationally and raising their awareness about the importance of educational guidance in university life. The workshop was jointly presented by Assistant Lecturer Rasha Ihsan, the department rapporteur, and Assistant Lecturer Zainab Karim. During the workshop, they discussed the concept of educational guidance and its importance in helping students adapt to the university environment, as well as its role in addressing some academic and psychological challenges that students may face during their educational journey. The workshop also witnessed active participation from the attending students through questions and discussions, which enriched the dialogue and enhanced the academic benefit of the event. This workshop comes within a series of scientific and awareness activities organized by the English Department to support students and develop their academic and personal skills. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq.
