The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education Holds Its Regular Meeting to Follow Up on Its Annual Plan

In accordance with the directives of the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Roudhan Salman, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education held its regular meeting on Monday morning, November 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the college building. The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Thanaa Bahaa Al-Din, Head of the Unit, with the attendance of the heads and members of the Women’s Affairs Committees in the college’s departments. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Women’s Affairs Committee in the Department of English, Lecturer Iltifat Aliwi Mohammed, and the Head of the Women’s Affairs Committee in the Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education, Lecturer Noor Saad Mushaib, in addition to departmental representatives and committee members. During the meeting, the mechanisms for implementing the Women’s Affairs Unit plan for the academic year were discussed, in alignment with the college’s goals in supporting female students both educationally and psychologically, and in providing a safe and motivating university environment that contributes to developing their skills and enhancing their academic level. Emphasis was also placed on launching impactful activities and awareness programs that empower female students within the university campus. The meeting was also attended by Assistant Professor Ahmed Jundi Ali, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, who provided valuable remarks to strengthen the unit’s work, stressing the importance of unifying efforts among departments and utilizing academic expertise to advance the unit’s performance and achieve its objectives.
