In pursuit of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, Al-Mustaqbal University – College of Health and Medical Technologies – Department of Industrial Kidney Technology organized a medical waste awareness campaign on January 5, 2025. The campaign was supervised and led by the department’s rapporteur, Assistant Lecturer Zainab Ali Mohsen Al-Khafaji, with the active participation of the department’s student Sustainability Ambassadors.<br /><br />The campaign extended throughout various parts of the university and included the distribution of dozens of brochures containing informative messages and practical tips. The campaign team actively engaged with students and staff, responding to their questions to deepen their understanding of the importance of medical waste awareness.<br />The Sustainability Ambassadors emphasized the importance of spreading awareness both within academic environments and in the broader community.
