Ministry of Higher Education Announces 2024 Iraqi National Ranking

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has released the results of the 2024 Iraqi National Ranking, organized by the Authority of Supervision & Scientific Evaluation. This year's ranking evaluated 100 public and private institutions, up from 95 institutions in the previous year. The ranking is based on 10 key performance standards:<br />1. Institutional Accreditation (20%) <br />2. International Rankings (10%) <br />3. Impact of Scientific Research (35%) <br />4. Educational Laboratories (5%) <br />5. Scientific & Academic Compliance (5%) <br />6. Faculty Members (4%) <br />7. Awards (5%) <br />8. Diversity & Global Cooperation (10%) <br />9. Student Sports Clubs (3%) <br />10. Occupational Health & Safety (3%) <br /><br />Additionally, 2,072 departments across these universities were evaluated, compared to 1,875 departments the previous year. The department evaluation criteria included:<br /><br />1. Quality & Program Accreditation (50%) <br />2. Faculty Members (25%) <br />3. International Rankings & Academic Specializations (25%) <br />Top-Ranked Institutions:<br /><br />Public Universities: <br />1. University of Technology (1st Place) <br />2. Al-Anbar University (2nd Place) <br />3. Al-Mustansiriya University (3rd Place) <br /><br />Private Universities: <br />1. Al-Mustaqbal University (1st Place) <br />2. Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (2nd Place) <br />3.
