The Dean of the College of Engineering and Technologies, Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, participated in the Third International Scientific Conference on Advanced Engineering Sciences and Technologies, organized by the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University in partnership with the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in the United Arab Emirates, from April 16-17, 2024. <br />This participation came in line with Al-Mustaqbal University's directions, represented by its president, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdi, to actively engage in local and international scientific forums. The university was also participated with a delegation comprising the Director of Academic and Scientific Supervision, Professor Dr. Modhafar Sadiq.<br /><br />The opening session featured presentations from keynote speakers from international universities, followed by specialized research sessions where many related research papers were presented.<br /><br />On the sidelines of the conference, a meeting was held with Dr. Youssef Assaf, Dean of RIT, during which potential areas of collaboration between Al-Mustaqbal University and RIT were discussed, especially in benefiting from successful experiences in building genuine partnerships with the industry sector. There was also a discussion on the possibility of joint quality programs at the postgraduate level. A field tour was conducted to explore the workshops, laboratories, and research centers at RIT, which is affiliated with the University of Rochester in the United States.<br /><br />It is worth noting that Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the conference through scientific committees and contributed several research papers in the field of improving energy efficiency.<br />
