As part of its commitment to supporting student projects and promoting innovation in the medical and technological fields, Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University welcomed fourth-year students from the Department of Medical Physics, College of Science, representing the tenth graduation project group. The students visited the Center to continue working on their project entitled “A Pressure Ulcer Management Bed for Patients with Stroke, Complete Paralysis, and Coma,” under the supervision of Dr. Faryal Ibrahim Al-Dhafiri. During the visit, the students worked on both the theoretical and practical aspects of the project. The discussions focused on the bed's design, its operational mechanism, and the technical requirements for implementation, alongside reviewing the application stages and providing scientific and technical guidance to further develop the project into a practical prototype that could help reduce the risk of pressure ulcers among patients with limited or no mobility. This activity reflects the Center’s ongoing efforts to support multidisciplinary student projects and encourage College of Science students to apply their academic knowledge and modern technologies in developing innovative solutions that serve the healthcare sector and contribute to improving the quality of medical care. The project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
