The Erasmus+ Office at the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University, in collaboration with the College of Health and Medical Techniques / Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques, organized a specialized training workshop to introduce students to the European Union-funded Erasmus+ programmes and explore international academic opportunities that can support their educational development and global engagement. The workshop highlighted the International Credit Mobility (ICM) programme, which provides students with opportunities to study at partner universities across Europe, enabling them to gain valuable academic and research experience while engaging with diverse educational environments. It also introduced the Erasmus Mundus programme, one of the prominent opportunities available to final-year students and graduates seeking to pursue postgraduate studies through joint master's scholarships. The session explained application requirements, admission criteria, and how to identify programmes that align with students' academic specializations. Furthermore, the workshop explored the Jean Monnet programme, highlighting Al-Mustaqbal University's achievement in securing the EU One Health project and receiving direct funding from the European Union. This accomplishment reflects the University's growing engagement in international academic initiatives and European cooperation programmes. The workshop featured interactive discussions addressing students' questions about scholarships and academic exchange opportunities. Participants were also encouraged to prepare early and meet application requirements to maximize their chances of benefiting from these international opportunities.
