As part of its efforts to promote international academic mobility and encourage students to explore educational opportunities abroad, the Erasmus+ Office at Al-Mustaqbal University, in collaboration with the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques, organized a specialized training workshop highlighting key Erasmus+ programs funded by the European Union and their role in expanding students’ academic opportunities. The workshop focused on student mobility opportunities under the International Credit Mobility (ICM) program, which enables students to undertake study periods at European partner universities, fostering knowledge exchange and exposure to diverse academic and research environments. Particular attention was given to Erasmus Mundus, one of the leading international opportunities for final-year students and graduates seeking to pursue postgraduate studies through joint master’s degree scholarships. The session provided practical guidance on eligibility requirements, selection criteria, application procedures, and identifying suitable programs aligned with students’ academic backgrounds. The workshop also introduced the Jean Monnet Actions, highlighting Al-Mustaqbal University’s successful selection for the “EU One Health” project under the Jean Monnet program and its receipt of direct funding from the European Union. This achievement reflects the University’s growing involvement in European academic initiatives and international cooperation. The workshop featured interactive discussions, allowing students to raise questions about scholarship opportunities and academic mobility programs. It also emphasized the importance of early preparation and meeting application requirements to maximize their chances of benefiting from these international opportunities.
