As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic engagement and expand educational opportunities for students and faculty members, the Erasmus+ Office at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the College of Engineering / Department of Biomedical Engineering, organized a training workshop introducing the various Erasmus+ programs funded by the European Union. The workshop provided an overview of the key programs and available opportunities, with a particular focus on International Credit Mobility (ICM), which offers students and academic staff opportunities for academic exchange, study, training, and teaching at European partner universities. Special attention was also given to Erasmus Mundus, which provides final-year students and graduates with opportunities to apply for joint master’s degree programs and scholarships offered by European and international universities. The session highlighted eligibility requirements, application procedures, and ways to explore available programs. The workshop also introduced the Jean Monnet Actions, highlighting Al-Mustaqbal University’s successful selection for the Jean Monnet project “EU One Health” and its receipt of direct funding from the European Union. This achievement reflects the University’s growing engagement and recognition in international academic cooperation. The workshop encouraged active participation from students and faculty members through discussions and questions about available opportunities and application requirements, reaffirming Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to expanding international academic partnerships and empowering its students to pursue educational opportunities worldwide.
