As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of higher education and advance its engineering programs in accordance with international standards, the College of Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University, in collaboration with the University of Jordan, is organizing an online workshop entitled “Academic Quality Management: ABET Requirements, Procedures, and Preparation for the Accreditation Visit.” The workshop aims to highlight academic quality concepts and systems and their role in developing educational programs, introduce the requirements of ABET international academic accreditation, and review the procedures for implementing quality standards and the best practices necessary to prepare for the accreditation visit. The workshop will be delivered by Dr. Nader Al-Haq from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Jordan, and Dr. Mudar Zaghloul, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Jordan. They will share their academic and practical expertise in quality assurance and academic accreditation.
