On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, the College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University held an educational and awareness-raising interactive seminar entitled “Managing Time Wisely: From Chaos to Effective Achievement.” The seminar was organized with the participation of the Departments of Educational and Psychological Sciences and English Language, and featured the participation of Prof. Dr. Sahira Qahtan Abdul-Jabbar, Assistant Lecturer Zainab Karim Abdul-Kadhim, and Assistant Lecturer Rasha Ihsan Saadoun. The seminar aimed to raise participants’ awareness of the importance of time and its role in an individual's life, identify the major factors that contribute to wasting time, and develop daily planning and prioritization skills. It also sought to equip participants with practical techniques to organize their tasks and move from randomness and distraction towards structured and effective achievement. The seminar addressed a range of modern strategies and techniques for time management, presenting a practical plan that included several effective approaches, most notably the 80/20 Rule (Pareto Principle), the Pomodoro Technique, the Rule of Three Tasks, and the “Don't Procrastinate” Rule, in addition to emphasizing the importance of advance planning and setting goals and priorities. These strategies contribute to enhancing productivity, making optimal use of time, and achieving goals efficiently. The seminar also witnessed active interaction with attendees through a concluding question designed to gather their opinions on the topics discussed, assess the extent of their benefit from the seminar's key themes, and evaluate its content. This interactive approach helps foster a culture of dialogue, active participation, and the exchange of experiences and ideas.
