As part of the continuous effort to develop and organize the educational and laboratory environment at the College of Engineering Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, a specialized clarification workshop titled "Laboratory Computer Coding System" was held today, Wednesday, November 4, 2026, targeting laboratory managers and in-charges across the college's various scientific departments. The workshop was presented by the Head of the Laboratories Unit, Asst. Lect. Zahraa Ibrahim Mahdi, and Laboratories Representative, Eng. Ali Naji Radi. They outlined the standard approved coding mechanism, which follows an organizational sequence starting with the university code, followed by the college, department, laboratory number, and individual computer serial identifier. Practical application models were also reviewed to demonstrate the smooth and accurate implementation of the system. The workshop aimed to standardize the computer coding mechanism across all scientific laboratories, facilitate periodic inventory procedures and technical monitoring, streamline maintenance operations, and enhance the overall administrative and technical management of equipment and devices. The session concluded by emphasizing the importance of adhering to these organizational guidelines, which contribute to the governance of laboratory assets and improve the management efficiency of the college's technical infrastructure.
