The College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University held an educational and awareness-raising interactive seminar entitled “Smart Time Management: From Chaos to Effective Achievement” on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. The seminar was organized in collaboration with the Departments of Educational and Psychological Sciences and English Language, with the participation of Professor Dr. Sahira Qahtan Abdul Jabbar, Assistant Lecturer Zainab Kareem Abdul Kadhim, and Assistant Lecturer Rasha Ihsan Saadoun. The seminar aimed to introduce the concept of time and its importance in individuals’ lives, highlight the most common time-wasting activities, and equip participants with daily planning and priority-setting skills. It also focused on effective approaches to moving from disorganized task management towards structured and productive achievement. The seminar presented a range of practical time-management strategies through a comprehensive plan that included several techniques, most notably the 80/20 Rule (Pareto Principle), the Pomodoro Technique, the Rule of Three Tasks, the “Don’t Procrastinate” Rule, and advance planning. These strategies aim to enhance productivity and achieve goals more efficiently. The seminar concluded with an interactive question addressed to the attendees regarding the extent of their benefit from the seminar’s topics and their overall evaluation of it. This aimed to assess participants’ engagement and learning outcomes while encouraging dialogue, active participation, and the exchange of opinions.
