Oil production plays a vital role in meeting global energy demand and supporting economic development. As the challenges associated with conventional oil reservoirs increase, modern technologies have become essential for improving production efficiency and maximizing the recovery of oil resources. Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) technologies are among the most promising solutions for increasing oil production beyond what can be achieved using conventional methods. These technologies include thermal recovery, gas injection, and chemical injection, which help reduce oil viscosity, improve fluid flow within the reservoir, and increase the amount of oil recovered from subsurface formations. In addition, advancements in reservoir monitoring, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence offer new opportunities to optimize production processes, reduce operating costs, and enhance safety standards. The integration of these technologies can also contribute to the optimal use of resources and minimize the environmental impacts of oil operations. Developing sustainable and economically viable methods for oil production is a key priority for the oil industry. By combining engineering innovation with environmental awareness, the oil industry can improve recovery efficiency while supporting the responsible management of energy resources.
