Al-Mustaqbal University held an expanded meeting on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in the Meeting Hall at the University Presidency, chaired by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and attended by the university's assistants, deans, associate deans, heads of academic departments, department rapporteurs, directors of departments and divisions, and staff members of the University Presidency. The meeting aimed to review university performance and discuss key scientific, academic, and administrative matters. During the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of continuously improving the quality of the educational process, strengthening institutional performance, promoting integration between academic and administrative units, and fostering teamwork. He also stressed the importance of addressing students' needs, monitoring the implementation of plans and directives, and developing the university's working environment. The meeting included presentations on student affairs and examinations, administrative operations and ways to enhance their efficiency, as well as the university's achievements and ongoing activities in scientific and academic fields, student activities, international relations, and sustainability. Discussions also addressed mechanisms for improving coordination and continuous follow-up across university departments. This meeting reflects the University Presidency's commitment to strengthening institutional work, achieving operational integration, and improving educational and administrative services in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through improving educational quality, SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) through supporting innovation and institutional development, SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) through enhancing institutional efficiency and governance, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strengthening international academic partnerships. These efforts support the university's pursuit of development and excellence and reinforce Al-Mustaqbal University as the first among private universities in Iraq.
