An Awareness and Volunteer Campaign at the College of Engineering Technology ​Conducted by Teaching Assistant Mustafa Mohammed Hassan, under the supervision of the Head of the Student Activities Division, Lecturer Assistant Anas Ahmed, and with the participation of several college students, an awareness and volunteer campaign was launched to promote the culture of voluntary work and emphasize its importance in building an active university personality capable of contributing to community service. ​The campaign introduced the concept of voluntary work and its key fields, highlighting its role in fostering a spirit of cooperation, social solidarity, and instilling values of giving, belonging, and responsibility among students. Additionally, it underscored the impact of participating in volunteer initiatives on developing personal and social skills, refining leadership capabilities, and enhancing communication and teamwork. ​Furthermore, the campaign focused on the importance of directing youth energies toward purposeful voluntary activities and initiatives. It emphasized that a university student's role extends beyond academic achievement to encompass active participation in community activities that help address challenges, strengthen values of solidarity, and drive positive, sustainable change in society. ​The campaign also addressed the necessity of instilling a culture of initiative among university youth as active driving forces and essential pillars of community development. Voluntary work serves as a practical opportunity to gain human and professional experiences, cultivate leadership, and transform positive ideas into tangible, impactful initiatives—enabling students to become true changemakers within their campus and community environments. ​This initiative comes as part of a series of activities organized by the Student Activities Division at the College of Engineering Technology, aimed at expanding student participation in volunteer efforts, promoting a culture of volunteerism, and strengthening social responsibility to prepare a conscious and proactive generation capable of making active contributions to society and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). ​Al-Mustaqbal University...
