The Department of Architectural Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Mustaqbal University, organised an awareness campaign entitled “Your Health Today Supports Your Creativity Tomorrow”. The campaign was conducted by Asst. Lect. Maryam Mohammed Musa, Asst. Lect. Ghadeer Haider Abbas, and Asst. Lect. Doaa Hazim Aziz, with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of public health as a fundamental pillar in building a well-balanced personality capable of learning, creativity, and achievement. It also highlighted the close relationship between physical well-being, mental health, intellectual activity, concentration, and positive thinking. The campaign featured a range of health messages and guidelines focusing on the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles. These included maintaining a balanced diet and consuming foods rich in essential nutrients, engaging in regular physical activity, getting sufficient sleep and rest, and paying attention to personal hygiene and overall health. It also emphasised the importance of drinking water regularly and avoiding unhealthy dietary habits and behaviours that may negatively affect physical and mental activity and quality of life. Furthermore, the campaign highlighted the importance of mental health as an integral part of overall well-being. It raised awareness of the need to cope positively with daily pressures, organise study and leisure time, strengthen self-confidence and optimism, and avoid sources of stress and continuous exhaustion. The campaign emphasised that psychological and physical well-being contribute to improved concentration and attention, enhanced academic performance, and the development of creative thinking, problem-solving, and sound decision-making skills. This campaign stems from the importance of building an aware generation that recognises that health is not merely the absence of disease, but a state of physical, psychological, and social well-being. Investing in health is an investment in human abilities and potential. A creative mind needs a healthy body and a balanced mind; therefore, taking care of our health today is the foundation for a future characterised by greater creativity, productivity, and excellence.
