The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, emphasized the importance of continuously developing university performance, improving the quality of the educational process, and enhancing institutional efficiency across all university departments. He highlighted the need to unify efforts, integrate responsibilities among academic and administrative units, and reinforce teamwork to achieve the university’s strategic objectives and keep pace with academic development. This came during his chairing of an expanded meeting attended by the university’s vice presidents, deans, assistant deans, heads of academic departments, department rapporteurs, directors of departments and divisions, and members of the university presidency. The meeting was dedicated to discussing university performance, reviewing key scientific, academic, and administrative matters, and following up on the implementation of approved plans and directives. The meeting included a comprehensive review of several key areas. The Scientific Assistant to the University President, Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, presented an overview of student affairs and examinations, highlighting the latest developments in the educational process, mechanisms for following up on student affairs, and requirements for ensuring the smooth conduct of academic activities. The Administrative Assistant, Professor Dr. Munther Fadhil Al-Dulaimi, also reviewed the current state of administrative work at the university, outlining the key requirements for improving its efficiency and developing organizational procedures in ways that enhance institutional effectiveness and improve administrative services across all university units. In another presentation, the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, highlighted the university’s key achievements and ongoing activities in scientific and academic fields, student activities, international relations, and sustainability. He also outlined the university’s efforts to improve educational quality, expand international academic cooperation and partnerships, support student initiatives, and strengthen its commitment to sustainable development. The meeting further addressed several issues related to institutional performance development and strengthening coordination and communication among university units. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of continuous follow-up, ensuring the implementation of directives, and setting priorities to promote smooth operations and integration across scientific, academic, and administrative activities. This meeting reflects the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening governance and effective institutional practices, while developing university performance through an integrated vision based on quality, planning, and coordinated efforts, thereby enhancing the university’s academic standing and reinforcing its role in serving society and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
