The Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a specialized scientific workshop today, Monday, November 2, 2026, for third-year students titled "Introduction to Antennas and Their Applications in Modern Systems," presented by Asst. Lect. Rusul Muhsin. The workshop highlighted the fundamental operating principles of antennas, their various types, and how electromagnetic energy is converted and propagated through space. It also reviewed the latest engineering applications of antennas in wireless communication networks, radar systems, and satellite communications. The workshop saw active engagement from third-year students through scientific questions and specialized discussions on optimizing antenna performance and designing them to meet the technological demands of the modern job market. These direct scientific activities underscore the commitment of the Department Headship and faculty to enhancing students' theoretical and practical knowledge while linking academic curricula with contemporary technological advancements.
