Assistant Professor Dr. Ma'moon Sami held a scientific workshop at the Department of English, College of Education, Al-Mustaqbal University, entitled: Words in Action: Using Literature to Teach Beyond the Page The workshop highlighted the role of literature in English language teaching and explored how literary texts can be employed as effective educational tools to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, develop students' language use, expression, and interaction skills, and incorporate literary activities to create a more engaging and creative learning environment. The workshop was attended by Mr. Hussein Munir, Assistant Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Salam Hassan Makki, Head of the Department of English, along with a large number of faculty members from the College of Education. This workshop is part of the scientific activities organized by the College of Education to strengthen the academic environment, promote the exchange of expertise, and develop English language teaching practices in line with modern trends in university education.
