Bacterial resistance to antibiotics is considered one of the most significant contemporary healthcare challenges, as it threatens the effectiveness of conventional treatments and makes controlling certain bacterial infections increasingly difficult. With the rapid advancement of medical technologies, intelligent medical systems, artificial intelligence, and machine learning have emerged as valuable tools for supporting the detection and analysis of microbial resistance patterns. These technologies contribute to processing laboratory test results and analyzing bacterial antibiotic susceptibility data, helping identify resistance patterns and predict the likelihood of bacterial responses to different treatments. Intelligent systems also provide advanced analytical tools that assist specialists in interpreting results and improving the accuracy of diagnostic and therapeutic decisions. The integration of microbiology, medical data analysis, and artificial intelligence represents a promising approach to developing more effective methods for monitoring antibiotic resistance and detecting resistant bacterial strains at an early stage. This can contribute to promoting the rational use of antibiotics, limiting the spread of microbial resistance, and supporting ongoing efforts to improve the quality of healthcare.
