Teaching Assistant Hassan Hadi provided a scientific explanation and practical demonstration of convex and concave lens experiments to students from Al-Kut University during their visit to the Optics Laboratory in the Department of Medical Physics at the College of Science, Almustaqbal University, on November 1, 2026. The explanation covered the properties of lenses and how light refracts as it passes through them, highlighting the role of convex lenses in converging light rays and concave lenses in diverging them. It also addressed image formation and how image characteristics vary depending on the lens type and the object’s position relative to it. The students were also introduced to the equipment and tools used in both experiments and how to arrange them on the optical bench, strengthening their understanding of theoretical concepts through practical application. This activity formed part of the scientific visit by Al-Kut University students to Almustaqbal University, supporting the exchange of knowledge and expertise, developing laboratory skills, and strengthening scientific ties between universities.
