Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the College of Education, in cooperation with the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Modern Teaching and Learning Strategies.” The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Mazloum Al-Maamouri, a faculty member at the College of Education, University of Babylon. It was attended by the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rawdan Salman, along with a number of faculty members and academics interested in advancing university education. The workshop addressed a range of contemporary educational approaches and strategies, particularly active and collaborative learning, blended and online learning, and the integration of modern technologies and artificial intelligence into teaching practices. It also highlighted the importance of designing interactive learning activities and adopting modern assessment methods to enhance the quality of the educational process and effectively measure learning outcomes. Furthermore, the workshop explored the importance of adopting student-centered teaching approaches that encourage active participation in the learning process and foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. This workshop is part of Al-Mustaqbal University's ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of higher education, support the professional development of academic staff, and keep pace with the latest educational and technological advancements. These efforts align with academic accreditation requirements and contribute to strengthening the University's position in its pursuit of academic excellence.
