As part of its commitment to promoting environmental awareness, sustainability, and social responsibility, and in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action), the Department of Radiological Technologies, in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness workshop on Saturday, October 31, 2026, entitled “Water Conservation Is Everyone’s Responsibility,” presented by Dr. Zainab Ali Hussein.
The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of preserving water resources as essential natural assets, raising awareness about rational water consumption, and reducing daily water waste. It also emphasized individual and collective responsibility in protecting natural resources and ensuring their sustainability for future generations.
The workshop addressed a range of practical guidelines and environmentally responsible practices to reduce water consumption in homes and educational institutions. It further highlighted the importance of adopting positive environmental behaviors and encouraging students to promote water conservation awareness and contribute actively to environmental protection and sustainable development.
This initiative reflects Al-Mustaqbal University's ongoing efforts to strengthen environmental awareness, encourage sustainable practices, and reinforce the principle that water conservation is a shared responsibility in building a more sustainable future.
