Future University – College of Agricultural Techniques Organizes an Awareness Workshop on the Risks of Drugs and Their Effects on Individuals and Society As part of Future University's commitment to promoting health and community awareness, the College of Agricultural Techniques organized an awareness workshop entitled "Drugs and Their Risks to Individuals and Society." The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Dhulfiqar Ahmed Hamza, Head of the Medical Laboratories Department, and Assistant Lecturer Rafal Fawzi Karim, a faculty member at the College of Agricultural Techniques. The workshop addressed the health, psychological, and social risks associated with drug abuse and its negative effects on individual health, family stability, and community security. It also highlighted the importance of prevention and raising awareness about the dangers of addiction, as well as strengthening the role of educational institutions in promoting health awareness and encouraging positive behaviors among students. The workshop further emphasized the need for concerted academic and community efforts to combat the spread of this serious phenomenon and raise awareness of the importance of avoiding drugs, thereby contributing to protecting individuals and society and building an aware, healthy, and safe community. This workshop is part of the awareness activities organized by the College of Agricultural Techniques at Future University, reaffirming its academic and educational role and its social responsibility in promoting awareness and serving the community.
