As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to develop its educational and research systems and enhance the quality of its academic and professional outcomes, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, met with the Council of the College of Engineering, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the educational process and improving academic performance in line with labor market requirements and development needs. During the meeting, the University President stressed the importance of benefiting from the experiences of leading international universities and activating the scientific and academic cooperation agreements established by the University. These efforts aim to develop educational and research programs, promote applied scientific research, and adopt modern teaching methods that place students at the center of the educational process while developing their academic and professional skills. He also highlighted the importance of promoting the concept of a productive university and strengthening integration between university education and the needs of professional and development sectors. This approach seeks to prepare qualified engineers equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to keep pace with scientific and technological advancements and meet labor market demands. The meeting addressed the current state of academic and scientific performance at the College of Engineering and explored ways to improve it. Discussions also covered opportunities to enhance educational and research programs and improve the quality of engineering graduates, in line with the University’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement.
