In an atmosphere filled with sorrow and condolences, Al-Mustaqbal University commemorated on Sunday morning, October 25, 2026, the martyrdom anniversary of the Lady of the Women of the Worlds, Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (PBUH). The university organized an official mourning stand, attended by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, along with the deans of colleges and teaching staff, in remembrance of this painful tragedy and its high status in the conscience of Muslims. The stand reflected feelings of deep sorrow and condolences on this occasion, while evoking the pure biography of Al-Zahra (PBUH) and the noble model she embodied in faith, patience, steadfastness, giving, and sacrifice. On the sidelines of the commemoration, awareness lectures were dedicated at the beginning of the first class across all departments. These lectures addressed shining aspects of the life of Lady Al-Zahra (PBUH), her status in Islam, her immortal role in consolidating humanitarian and ethical principles and values, in addition to drawing lessons and morals from her biography in adhering to the truth, bearing responsibility, and doing good to others. The events concluded with prayers that God may magnify the reward and recompense for everyone in this great affliction. May God magnify our reward and yours.
