Within the framework of enhancing the practical and applied aspect of its students, and linking theoretical knowledge with field reality, the Department of Optics Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific visit to Imam Al-Sadiq Hospital in Babylon Governorate on Monday, 26/11/2026. The visit was attended by Optometrist Hassan Abdul Ali, Ms. Hawraa Sadiq, Naba Yaseen, and Zainab Ahmed, along with a group of students from the department. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the latest devices and technologies used in vision testing and diagnosing various visual problems, learn about their working mechanisms and the medical protocols followed in dealing with patients, in addition to providing students with the opportunity for direct practical training on these devices under the supervision of medical and teaching staff. The visit included a field tour inside the hospital's relevant departments, where students observed the daily workflow and interacted with the medical staff by raising questions and inquiries related to their specialization, which contributed to enhancing their practical understanding and refining their skills and field experience. This visit comes within the series of scientific activities organized by the department to enhance the quality of education and prepare students for the labor market, in line with Al-Mustaqbal University's vision of preparing scientifically and practically qualified cadres and providing an educational environment that combines theory and practice.
