Al-Mustaqbal University Celebrates a New Academic and Historic Milestone: The College of Dentistry Receives National Programmatic Accreditation Amidst a series of ongoing scientific and academic achievements, Al-Mustaqbal University held a distinguished ceremony to mark the College of Dentistry’s attainment of national programmatic accreditation. This recognition was granted following a ministerial decree issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research—specifically the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority—and based on the endorsement of the National Council for Accreditation of Dentistry Colleges in Iraq. The ceremony was attended by a notable gathering, led by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, alongside the Dean of the College of Dentistry, the Vice-Deans, heads of academic departments, a group of faculty members and students, and several prominent academic and educational figures. The event commenced with an address by the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, who expressed his pride in this historic milestone. He emphasized that the College of Dentistry’s national programmatic accreditation is the natural outcome of sustained strategic planning and the dedicated efforts of the College’s deanship, faculty, and administrative staff. He further highlighted the university administration’s unwavering support in ensuring the highest quality standards and a comprehensive educational and training environment. Furthermore, he noted that this achievement strengthens Al-Mustaqbal University’s standing as a leading academic institution—both locally and globally—and reaffirms its steadfast commitment to graduating highly competent dentists in accordance with national and international standards. For its part, the college’s deanship and staff commended this achievement, expressing their commitment to continuing their academic and clinical contributions in service to the Iraqi community. The ceremony featured the cutting of a celebratory cake to mark this significant milestone, amidst an atmosphere filled with joy and pride. This was followed by the honoring of several individuals and committees that played a direct role in preparing the accreditation files and securing this well-deserved academic excellence for Al-Mustaqbal University.
