Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Sciences, Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, the Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences organized a scientific seminar titled "Deepfakes: How to Detect Them?" The seminar was held on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 12:00 PM, in the Student Activities Hall within the Medical Technologies building. It was presented by the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Kadhim Abdul-Karim Abdul-Kadhim, and was attended by a large number of faculty members and students from the College of Sciences. The seminar explored the complex mechanisms of deepfake technology and its digital implications. It examined key modern technical tools and methods used to detect and analyze such content, aiming to address current technological challenges and strengthen information security. This seminar reflects the commitment of both the College and the University to promoting technical awareness and equipping staff, academics, and students with contemporary knowledge to keep pace with the rapid developments in the field of artificial intelligence.
