The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired a meeting of the Council of the College of Technical Engineering on Sunday, October 25, 2026, attended by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, and the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd. The meeting focused on reviewing the current state of academic and scientific performance, assessing achievements, and discussing future development plans. During the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of continuously improving the quality of education, supporting scientific research and directing it toward addressing community needs, strengthening academic cooperation and partnerships with local and international universities, and adopting modern teaching methods that contribute to developing students’ scientific, practical, and creative skills. He also stressed the importance of encouraging students to participate actively in university activities to promote a sense of belonging, excellence, and innovation. Furthermore, the meeting explored opportunities to advance academic and research activities within the College and reinforce quality standards and institutional excellence in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. Al-Mustaqbal University ranks first among private universities in Iraq.
