The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, met with the Faculty Council and emphasized, in his directive speech, the importance of strengthening the educational process and improving the quality of its outcomes in line with labor market requirements, while enhancing the university’s orientation toward becoming a productive university that connects education with developmental and professional needs. The University President stressed the importance of benefiting from the experiences of reputable international universities and investing in and activating the scientific and academic cooperation agreements concluded by the university. Such efforts contribute to developing educational and research programs, promoting applied scientific research, and adopting modern teaching methods that place students at the heart of the educational process and equip them with the knowledge and skills required by the evolving labor market. The meeting also addressed the current state of the faculty’s academic and scientific performance and discussed ways to develop and enhance it, with the aim of improving the quality of engineering education and strengthening the university’s role in preparing academic graduates capable of competing and responding to the requirements of development and the labor market.
