The Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al Mustaqbal University, held a scientific conference to mark World Anesthesia Day, attended by Professor Dr. Ali Al-Awadi, a faculty member at Ibn Hayyan University of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences; Professor Dr. Ahmed Khudhair Al-Humairi, Head of the Department of Anesthesia Techniques; and Professor Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs. The conference was supervised by Mr. Zaid Jawdat Al-Azzawi, the Department’s Activities Officer. The conference featured scientific lectures delivered by Dr. Basim Mohammed, Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Zahra Saasaa, and Mr. Ali Qasim, from the Department of Anesthesia Techniques. The lectures addressed scientific topics related to anesthesia, its importance in modern medical practice, and its role in enhancing patient safety and improving healthcare services. The conference witnessed active scientific engagement among attendees, highlighting the importance of organizing academic events that facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise among academic staff and shed light on scientific and professional advancements in the field of anesthesia. At the conclusion of the conference, the speakers and guest, Professor Dr. Ali Al-Awadi, were honored in recognition of their scientific contributions and valuable participation in the success of the conference, as well as their role in supporting academic progress and strengthening academic collaboration.
